Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

To support effective billing processes, the full-time remote Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist will track insurance payments, resolve payment issues, and focus on process improvements within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Track insurance payments and resolve payment issues using EPIC
• Implement process improvements and handle appeals and account resolutions
• Utilize automated patient accounting systems for efficient billing operations

Required qualifications

• Two to three years of healthcare billing or accounts receivable experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of insurance contracts, billing regulations, and medical terminology
• Familiarity with HCPCS/CPT/ICD-10 codes and revenue codes
• Certification as a Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) is desirable
