Certified Business Continuity Specialist
Job Summary
Providing expert advisement and support, the full-time remote Certified Business Continuity Specialist will develop and mature the business continuity management program, conduct analyses, and create documentation to enhance organizational resilience.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct business impact analysis (BIA), application impact analysis (AIA), and facility-based risk analysis to identify critical business functions and develop strategies
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and documentation for business continuity application tools
- Facilitate workshops with departmental leadership to process map critical business functions and provide business continuity education and awareness content
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related discipline
- 7 years of business continuity experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Business continuity certification (BRCI, DRI, ISO, or equivalent) required upon hire
- Certifications in FEMA ICS 100, ICS 200, IS 700, and IS 800 required upon hire
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, Joint Commission, and other relevant regulatory controls
