Job Summary
Working night shifts from Tuesday to Friday, the Certified Cardiac Technician will review ECG data for clinical accuracy, maintain documentation, and communicate abnormalities to office staff while ensuring compliance with certification requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Review patients' ECG data and algorithm findings for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of rhythm measurements and communicate ECG abnormalities as needed
- Continuously develop clinical knowledge, particularly in ECG rhythm interpretation skills
Required qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a telemetry/monitor technician or Holter scanner
- Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Intermediate level PC proficiency
- Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to providing high-quality reports
