Certified CDI Team Lead

Job Summary

To ensure the accuracy of diagnostic information and coding, the full-time Certified CDI Team Lead will manage quality oversight of CDI integrity and claims auditors, provide coaching and training, and participate in regulatory audits while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality oversight of CDI integrity and claims auditors
• Provide coaching and training to CDI auditors not meeting quality standards
• Participate as a subject matter expert in regulatory audits and support audit findings rebuttal

Required qualifications

• 3+ years as an outpatient CDI or 5+ years in risk adjustment coding/auditing
• CPC, COC, or CRC certification through AAPC or CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification through AHIMA required
• Prior CPT coding experience is a plus
• Previous managerial experience preferred but not required
• BA/BS or RN in Nursing is a plus but not required
