Certified CDM Consultant
Job Summary
Working remotely on a permanent basis, a Certified CDM Consultant will manage the hospital chargemaster, ensuring compliance and accuracy while supporting healthcare customers with their chargemaster needs.
Key responsibilities
- Assume the charge master role to support customer resource needs and maintain the hospital chargemaster
- Review departmental CDM requests for completeness and accuracy, ensuring proper entry into Patient Accounting Systems
- Communicate effectively regarding CDM irregularities and participate in revenue cycle assessments and CDM reviews
Required qualifications
- 5-7 years of CDM maintenance experience
- Experience with financial systems such as EPIC, McKesson, Cerner, and others
- CPC, COC, or CCS certification
- Hands-on experience maintaining and updating hospital CDMs
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare services, regulatory requirements, and project management
