Certified Charge Audit Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance the accuracy of outpatient clinical documentation coding and charging, the full-time remote Certified Charge Audit Analyst will manage education initiatives with clinical departments and coding staff while addressing root causes to ensure compliance with policies.

Key responsibilities:

• Improving accuracy in outpatient clinical documentation coding and charging
• Educating clinical departments and coding staff on documentation and charging processes
• Conducting root cause analysis to support accurate charging and coding compliance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPC, COC, RHIA, or RHIT certification required
• Five years of recent relevant experience in coding and billing
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, coding processes, and revenue cycle applications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical records, preferably EPIC
