Certified Charge Capture Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure accurate and timely billing, the full-time Certified Charge Capture Specialist will enter and import charges, resolve claim edits, and collaborate with the Coding and Revenue Integrity Supervisor, all while working fully remote without weekends, evenings, or holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately enter and import charges into the practice management system, ensuring correct coding for all services
• Resolve assigned claim edits and submit claims to third-party payers efficiently
• Communicate with coding and business office staff to address errors and improve billing processes

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of three years of revenue cycle experience within a physician practice
• At least two years of hands-on coding and/or billing experience in a physician's office
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, particularly in urology services
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
