Job Summary

Providing leadership in clinical documentation and coding improvement, the full-time remote Certified Clinical Documentation Consultant will develop training plans, deliver educational programs, and ensure compliance with coding requirements while facilitating strategies for optimal payor reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and updates training plans based on internal needs and regulatory changes
• Delivers training on clinical documentation standards and coding practices to new providers
• Identifies trends in documentation and coding, implementing corrective actions to prevent payor denials

Required qualifications

• Coding certification required
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in medical coding and documentation
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and compliance regulations
