Certified Coder Consultant
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Recovery Resolution Consultant will assist with daily reporting, implement process improvements, and provide training to production staff while managing complex coding inquiries and supporting quality metrics.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and feedback for daily and monthly reporting related to quality and automation
- Create and present ongoing development and educational training for production staff
- Research claims and complex coding cases, responding to inquiries and supporting internal teams with subject matter expertise
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Certified Coder AHIMA or AAPC Certified coder (CPC, CCS, CCA)
- 2+ years of experience as an AHIMA or AAPC Certified coder
- Understanding of Fraud, Waste, Abuse, and Error principles with health insurance experience
- Experience leading projects or mentoring team members
