Job Summary

Demonstrating proficiency in coding high acuity inpatient and technical outpatient accounts, the full-time Certified Coder III will support Revenue Cycle goals for timely billing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Code high acuity inpatient accounts and technical outpatient accounts, including specialized procedures
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines to support accurate and timely billing
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve coding discrepancies and improve coding accuracy

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of coding experience, with a preference for inpatient coding
• High School Diploma or GED
• One or more relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, COC, CPC, CCA, CCC, CIRCC, or CCVTC
