Certified Coder III - Radiation Oncology

Job Summary

To support the Revenue Cycle department, the full-time remote Certified Coder III - Radiation Oncology will perform in-depth reviews of outpatient codes and charges, resolving coding errors and converting diagnoses into appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct complex daily reviews of outpatient coding and charges to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Resolve coding errors and claim edits by interpreting handwritten and typed notes/diagnoses
• Accurately convert diagnoses into CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes

Required qualifications:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in coding Radiation Oncology services
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding applications
