Certified Coding Coordinator
Job Summary
To ensure timely and complete documentation, the full-time remote Certified Coding Coordinator will monitor operations and workflows for HIM Coding, acting as a liaison between healthcare providers and third-party suppliers while optimizing processes and resolving issues.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers and third-party suppliers, resolving issues and improving processes
- Monitor supplier compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and track services using key performance metrics
- Educate physicians and clinicians on coding guidelines and documentation improvement, while developing related materials
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree or 2 years of relevant work experience
- 4 years of experience in coding or related field
- Certification in one of the following: CCS, CCS-P, CIC, CIRCC, COC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
