Certified Coding Quality Analyst
Job Summary
To support coding quality initiatives, the full-time Certified Coding Quality Analyst will develop and coordinate review processes, analyze coding errors, and provide education and feedback to staff, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate the review process for coding quality, including error analysis and staff education
- Prepare summary reports of coding review results and identify trends for educational opportunities
- Participate in individualized feedback sessions for coding staff to improve quality and performance
Required qualifications
- Graduate of a Medical Coding Program or equivalent experience
- 3 years of related coding or review experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience with coding concepts including CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS
- Licensure as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification required
- Experience using Microsoft Office and other coding-related software
