Certified Coding Quality Analyst

Job Summary

To support the quality assurance program, the full-time remote Certified Coding Quality Analyst will develop monitoring systems, conduct coding quality reviews, and prepare summary reports on coding results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an organized monitoring system for the QA program structure
• Conduct and coordinate the review process for coding quality, including analyzing errors and providing feedback
• Prepare summary reporting of coding review results as requested

Required qualifications

• Medical Coding Program Graduate required
• 3 years of progressive coding experience required
• Certification as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent upon hire required
• Experience with coding concepts such as CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS required
• Graduate of a Health Information Technology program preferred
