Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare organization, the full-time Certified Coding Specialist will review hospital medical records to assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses for outpatient and ancillary encounters, ensuring high-quality coding standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review hospital medical records and assign relevant ICD-10-CM diagnoses according to Official Coding Guidelines
- Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards to provide exceptional coding services
- Communicate and collaborate with outpatient coders and managers to address client needs
Required qualifications
- Current CCS, RHIA, RHIT, or CPC coding credentials
- 3 or more years of relevant facility coding experience
- Access to reliable high-speed internet and workstation
- Epic experience is a plus
- Candidates must reside within the United States
