Certified Coding Specialist Supervisor

Job Summary

Managing a team of medical coders, the full-time Certified Coding Specialist Supervisor will oversee inpatient and outpatient coding tasks, ensure productivity and accuracy, and facilitate training, all while working remotely during daytime hours.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and audit medical coders' accuracy and productivity
• Manage attendance and scheduling needs of medical coding staff
• Facilitate team meetings and coordinate education and training for coders

Required qualifications

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
• Associate's degree in Medical Billing and Coding or equivalent
• Five years of medical coding experience, including two years in education responsibilities
• Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
