Job Summary

Managing the coding team remotely, the full-time Certified Coding Specialist Supervisor will oversee inpatient and outpatient medical coding tasks, ensuring accuracy and productivity while providing guidance and training to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitors and audits medical coders' accuracy and productivity
• Manages attendance and scheduling needs for medical coding staff
• Facilitates team meetings and coordinates education/training for coders

Required qualifications

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
• Associate's degree in Medical Billing and Coding or equivalent
• Five years of medical coding experience, including two years in an educational role
• Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
