Certified Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing daily operational activities, the full-time Certified Coding Supervisor will manage employed and vendor coders to ensure compliance with policies and regulations while facilitating accurate coding and billing in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for coding resources, ensuring effective workload coordination and performance monitoring
• Monitor documentation integrity trends and facilitate provider education to enhance coding accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to address documentation concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree or two (2) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CCS-P credential required
• Minimum three (3) years of coding experience in a highly computerized hospital setting
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
