Certified Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing daily operational activities for coding teams, the full-time remote Certified Coding Supervisor will manage coding accuracy, compliance audits, and provide leadership to both employed and vendor coders while ensuring adherence to regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing leadership and operational oversight for coding resources while supporting Professional Billing workflows
• Monitoring documentation integrity trends and facilitating provider education related to coding accuracy and compliance
• Collaborating with stakeholders to address documentation concerns and assist with reporting and trend analysis

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree or two years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CCS-P credential required
• Minimum of three years of coding experience in a computerized hospital setting
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
