Job Summary

Leading a team of coding educators in a full-time remote capacity, the Certified Coding Supervisor - MO will supervise daily operations, mentor staff, and enhance coding quality while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees shift operations, work assignments, and daily priorities for the coding educator team
• Coordinates the design and delivery of training curricula, job aids, and workshops for coders and healthcare providers
• Tracks audit findings and metrics, reporting results to leadership while developing corrective education plans

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Four years of relevant experience in coding or healthcare education
• Certification as a Certified Coding Associate (CCA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-P), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
