Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (RN)
Job Summary
To support legal professionals, the fully remote Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (RN) contractor will analyze medical records, provide informed opinions on medical-legal matters, and communicate findings to attorneys, working up to 25 hours per month.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and summarize medical records, highlighting essential details for attorneys
- Determine long-term medical needs and estimate associated costs for injured parties
- Prepare medical record chronologies using approved reporting templates
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar or related role preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active LNC Certification required, preferably from AALNC
- Valid state-appropriate RN license in good standing
- Completion of med-legal coursework preferred
