Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary

To support the launch of Virtual Primary Care services, the full-time Certified Medical Assistant will provide patient-centered care coordination, assist with clinical workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with clinical leadership to enhance the Virtual Primary Care patient experience
• Support patients by providing compassionate care coordination and administrative assistance throughout their Virtual Primary Care journey
• Assist with patient intake, documentation, and care coordination while following established clinical protocols

Required qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or equivalent) required
• 2+ years of experience in ambulatory, family practice, internal medicine, or primary care preferred
• Experience supporting telehealth or virtual care highly preferred
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (Athena, Epic, eClinicalWorks, Elation, etc.)
• Flexibility in schedule as needed
