Certified Medical Billing Representative

Job Summary

To support patient care, the full-time remote Certified Medical Billing Representative will manage medical claims processing, review documentation, and provide payment assistance solutions such as co-pay cards and vouchers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review medical claims from healthcare providers and patients, ensuring all required documentation is complete
• Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and CMS-1500 forms to evaluate claims against program-specific business rules
• Provide customer support through various communication channels and identify operational challenges to recommend solutions

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Billing Program or certification as a Certified Medical Billing Representative
• Experience in claims processing and ability to interpret EOBs
• Insurance verification experience and familiarity with payment postings
• Previous call center or customer service experience
