Job Summary

To support the pathology and lab services, the full-time Certified Medical Coder will perform coding for professional fee services, ensuring compliance with regulations while working remotely from an approved state.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate medical coding for pathology and laboratory services
• Ensure compliance with coding regulations and guidelines
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Medical Coding education or an active coding certification
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1 year of progressive coding experience required
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification required upon hire
• Associate's Degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
