Job Summary

Bringing expertise in medical coding and clinical documentation improvement, the full-time Medical Coder / CDI Specialist will develop and evaluate advanced AI systems by creating clinical cases and assessing model responses in a remote contractor role.

Key responsibilities

• Create clinical tasks, longitudinal-chart scenarios, and evaluation rubrics focused on medical coding and documentation accuracy
• Synthesize fragmented records to assess clinical reasoning, documentation quality, and patient safety
• Apply structured rubrics and refine cases through feedback and calibration cycles

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, with recent practice within the last three years
• An active recognized coding or CDI credential appropriate to the discipline
• A relevant healthcare degree or equivalent practical experience
• Strong clinical reasoning and chart-review skills
• Ability to follow standardized rubrics and work through fast-paced review cycles
