Job Summary
To ensure high-quality coding practices, the full-time Certified Outpatient Auditor will conduct quality assurance reviews for outpatient coding specialists, provide training, and maintain coding accuracy in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Complete quality assurance reviews for clients and onboarding audits for new coding consultants
- Provide educational support and training sessions on coding error trends and compliance issues
- Maintain accurate reporting and productivity standards while addressing client QA needs
Required qualifications
- Possession of an approved AHIMA or AAPC coding credential
- A minimum of 4 years of coding experience, with specialty experience preferred based on client needs
- At least 2 years of auditing experience preferred
- Recommended 2 years of remote work experience
