Certified Outpatient Quality Reviewer
Job Summary
To ensure coding accuracy and compliance, the full-time Certified Outpatient Quality Reviewer will review outpatient coded cases, provide expert coding advice, and analyze audit results while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct quality reviews of outpatient records to validate coding accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Provide audit feedback, coaching, and guidance to promote coding excellence across teams
- Analyze audit results to identify trends and opportunities for education and process improvement
Required qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- One or more active certifications: RHIT, RHIA, COC, CCS-P, or CCS
- A minimum of seven (7) years of hospital outpatient coding experience
