Job Summary
To support payroll operations, the full-time Certified Payroll Specialist (PA) will manage certified payroll processing for both prevailing wage and standard projects, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process weekly certified payrolls and ensure accurate wage payments according to contract requirements
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports, maintaining compliance with federal and state labor laws
- Maintain accurate payroll records and support audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving discrepancies
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of certified payroll experience required
- Strong knowledge of federal and state-specific certified payroll regulations
- Proficiency with payroll systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now, and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
