Job Summary
Providing group-based intervention and case management, the full-time Certified Peer Recovery Specialist will facilitate support groups for individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) in a remote setting, working a 4x10 schedule that includes evening and weekend groups.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate psychoeducational and support-based groups on SUD topics, both independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Manage crisis interventions remotely and prepare documentation in compliance with organizational and state standards
- Engage in member communication through various channels while embodying the company's mission and values
Required qualifications:
- Peer Recovery Support Certification is required
- Minimum of 1 year of peer recovery experience and experience facilitating support groups
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part II
- Case management experience and a strong commitment to service excellence
- Ability to manage stress and maintain a positive presence in a fast-paced environment
