Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare technology company, the temp-to-hire Utilization Management Technician will prepare prior authorization requests, make outbound calls to providers for clinical information, and review pharmacy claims data while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and validate prior authorization requests by ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines
• Make outbound calls to providers to gather necessary clinical information for pharmacist review
• Triage phone calls from members and providers, addressing clinical questions and concerns effectively

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience in a PBM, health plan, or clinical pharmacy setting
• Experience with prior authorization requests and understanding of related requirements
• National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license is required
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote, high-volume call center environment
