Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coder Physician.
Key Responsibilities
- Abstract, code, and sequence clinical information from various medical records
- Assign correct diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and coding guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
- A minimum of five years of current production coding experience in relevant pro fee
- Must possess certifications such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P
- Experience with Epic software
- Ability to maintain a minimum of 95% coding accuracy
