Certified ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time Certified ProFee Coding Specialist will provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for a variety of specialties while working remotely and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS
• Calculate ProFee and Facility E/M levels and recognize critical care cases by patient acuity
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain compliance with all internal policies and ethical standards

Required qualifications:

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
• Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
