Certified ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

To support a dynamic coding team, the full-time Certified ProFee Coding Specialist will provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for multiple specialties while working remotely and maintaining high accuracy and productivity standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS for various specialties
• Calculate ProFee and Facility E/M levels and recognize critical care cases by patient acuity
• Participate in ongoing training and ensure compliance with coding guidelines and ethical standards

Required qualifications:

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience is required
• Proficiency in EMR systems, billing, and Microsoft programs like Excel and Outlook
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
• Reliable internet connection and current coding materials are necessary for the role
