Certified Profee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

To support a diverse range of clients, the full-time Certified Profee Coding Specialist will provide accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties while working remotely and maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS for various specialties
• Calculate ProFee and Facility E/M levels utilizing company-provided algorithms and recognize critical care cases based on patient acuity
• Communicate professionally with clients to foster strong working relationships and support company interests

Required qualifications:

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required
• Advanced knowledge of EMR and billing systems is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary
• Must maintain ongoing productivity and quality scores of 95% or higher
