Certified ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing coding team, the full-time remote Certified ProFee Coding Specialist will provide accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding across various specialties while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide coding services for Professional Fee and Facility Chart types across multiple specialties
• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes while interpreting coding guidelines
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards and internal policies while participating in ongoing training

Required qualifications:

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for managing data and communications
• Knowledge of EMR and billing systems is essential
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
