Job Summary
To support a growing medical coding team, the full-time Certified Professional Fee Coder will review medical records, ensure high-quality coding standards, and collaborate with team members in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review medical records and accurately code charts for various specialties
- Meet or exceed established quality and productivity standards in coding services
- Communicate and collaborate with coders and managers to meet client needs
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of profee coding experience in a teaching facility setting, preferred
- Current AHIMA or AAPC coding credentials
- Access to high-speed internet and a compatible workstation
- Demonstrated coding quality of at least 95%
