Certified Radiology Coding Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Certified Radiology Coding Specialist will provide accurate coding services for various specialties, including CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM, while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining high productivity and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide coding services for Professional Fee and Facility specialties, applying diagnosis and procedure codes accurately
• Interpret coding guidelines and ensure documentation supports code assignments, impacting reimbursement
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain compliance with ethical coding standards and company policies

Required qualifications:

• Must be certified through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
• At least 6 months of on-the-job coding experience required
• Proficient in EMR and billing systems, as well as Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to maintain productivity and quality scores of 95% or higher
• Must have reliable internet access and current coding reference materials
