Certified Regional Coding Manager

Job Summary

Supporting middle revenue cycle functions, the full-time Regional Coding Manager will manage coding operations, ensure quality compliance, and drive process improvement for regional hospital clients in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor team performance and productivity to ensure service level agreements are met, providing guidance and coaching as necessary
• Conduct performance reviews to meet KPIs, identifying and reporting barriers to customers and leadership
• Collaborate with the quality review team to address coding quality issues and implement improvement plans

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Coding Certification through AHIMA or AAPC: RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CPC
• Medical coding experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of charge capture strategies and payer contracts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
• Leadership experience in a healthcare revenue cycle management position
