Certified Rehabilitation Counselor
Job Summary
To support the return-to-work efforts for injured employees, the full-time remote Return-to-Work Specialist will negotiate and facilitate accommodations, monitor rehabilitation plans, and ensure adherence to medical and legal standards.
Key responsibilities
- Determine objective, medically supported work restrictions for assigned claims
- Facilitate return-to-work efforts through negotiation with clients, treatment providers, and claimants
- Contact employers to gather specific job site information and assist with job site modifications as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) designation preferred
- Experience in medical or rehabilitation fields
- Knowledge of vocational evaluation and work adjustment training
- Familiarity with medical and legal regulations related to disability and rehabilitation
