Job Summary
To support healthcare organizations, the part-time Certified Same Day Surgery Coder will code Same Day Surgery, Observations, and Emergency Department records, including injections and infusions, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Code Same Day Surgery, Observations, and ED records accurately, including injections and infusions
- Review and assign appropriate CPT codes for recurring records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in coding practices
Required qualifications
- Active CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA credential
- Two (2) years of recent and relevant hands-on coding experience
- Experience with coding for injections and infusions
