Certified Scrum Master
Job Summary
To support a ServiceNow service management program for a customer on Capitol Hill, the full-time remote Certified Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach the Scrum team and Product Owner, and manage impediments while ensuring effective delivery coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives while coaching the team and stakeholders in Agile principles
- Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies, impediments, and risks while coordinating Agile development with release management and testing activities
- Coach the team towards self-management and continuous improvement, reporting on sprint outcomes and facilitating retrospectives that drive process enhancements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree
- Five or more years of relevant experience, including at least three years in a Scrum Master or equivalent Agile facilitation role
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification
- Experience running Scrum on a ServiceNow or other ITSM platform program
- Prior program experience on Capitol Hill
