Certified Transplant Financial Specialist

Job Summary

To support the financial needs of Bone Marrow Transplant patients, the full-time Certified Transplant Financial Specialist will analyze clinical orders, verify insurance benefits, and develop detailed financial estimates while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze clinical orders and research insurance coverage to establish financial expectations for patients and families
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary referrals and authorizations for all transplant-related services
• Communicate effectively with clinical teams and patients to provide financial counseling and support throughout the transplant process

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of three years' experience in data processing, hospital registration, or insurance verification with a healthcare provider or insurance company
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification must be obtained within six months of hire
• Strong computer and software navigation skills, comfortable with medical terminology
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under tight deadlines in a structured environment
