Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) for a fully remote, contracted 13-week assignment, the candidate will abstract and manage complex oncology cases while ensuring high data quality and accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Abstract oncology cases according to national cancer registry standards
- Accurately code diagnoses, treatments, staging, and follow-up information
- Handle complex oncology cases, including bone marrow transplant treatments and multiple-facility abstracts
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Certified Tumor Registrar experience
- Current CTR/ODS certification (verification and issue date required)
- Associate's degree in a relevant field is required; bachelor's degree is a plus
- Experience abstracting complex oncology cases
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
