CFD Engineer
Job Summary
To support the training and evaluation of AI agents in fluid simulation tasks, the part-time CFD Engineer will assist with CAD geometry setup, run simulations, and develop Python checks for results while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and run fluid simulations based on CAD geometry
- Build verified reference solutions and conduct verification and validation practices
- Write Python checks to evaluate the accuracy of AI agent results
Required qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred
- Several years of hands-on industry or research experience with CFD software such as OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+
- Experience with verification and validation practices, including mesh-independence studies
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
