CFD Engineer
Job Summary
To support AI training initiatives, the part-time CFD Engineer will evaluate and train AI agents on fluid simulation tasks, set up simulations, and write Python checks for results while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks using CAD geometry
- Set up and run simulations, building verified reference solutions for accuracy
- Write Python checks to validate the results generated by AI agents
Required qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a PhD is preferred
- Several years of hands-on industry or research experience with CFD tools such as OpenFOAM or ANSYS Fluent/CFX
- Experience with verification and validation practices, including mesh-independence studies
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
