Job Summary
To support AI training initiatives, the part-time CFD Engineer will remotely help train and evaluate AI agents on fluid simulation tasks by setting up simulations, building reference solutions, and writing Python checks for results.
Key responsibilities
- Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks using CAD geometry
- Set up and run simulations, and build verified reference solutions
- Write Python checks to validate the results of the AI agents
Required qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a PhD is preferred
- Several years of hands-on industry or research experience with CFD tools like OpenFOAM or ANSYS Fluent
- Experience with verification and validation practices, including mesh-independence studies
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above
