Job Summary
To support the training and evaluation of AI agents in expert-level fluid simulation tasks, the part-time CFD Engineer will work remotely to set up and run simulations, build verified reference solutions, and write Python checks for the agent's results.
Key responsibilities
- Train and evaluate AI agents on fluid simulation tasks using CAD geometry
- Set up and run simulations while building verified reference solutions
- Write Python checks to validate the results produced by AI agents
Required qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred
- Several years of hands-on industry or research experience with CFD tools such as OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+
- Experience in verification and validation practices, including mesh-independence studies
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
