Job Summary
To support the Department of Veterans Affairs' modernization initiatives, the remote Change Management Specialist will lead stakeholder engagement, develop change strategies, and manage communications to ensure the successful adoption of Agile practices and Atlassian tools.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement change-management strategies, stakeholder maps, and communication plans
- Create and distribute various communication materials, including leadership briefings and FAQs, tailored to diverse audiences
- Recruit and sustain a network of change champions, coordinating community activities and feedback mechanisms
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, organizational development, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in organizational change, internal communications, or stakeholder engagement
- Prosci change management certification or CCMP credential
- Experience in delivering communications within a federal or complex enterprise environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop change-champion networks and measure adoption readiness
