Charge Description Master Analyst

Job Summary

Assisting in the maintenance and updating of the Charge Description Master (CDM), the full-time Charge Description Master Analyst will ensure compliance with third-party payer regulations, verify payment accuracy, and collaborate with clinical and revenue cycle staff while working onsite in Allentown, PA, with the option for hybrid remote work after six months.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain department work queues by collaborating with clinical and revenue cycle staff to resolve issues
• Assist in establishing charges for new procedures, services, and supplies, ensuring compliance with third-party coding requirements
• Field customer service requests and update Outpatient Workers Compensation Fee Schedules quarterly

Required qualifications

• Four-year degree in health administration, business, or a related field preferred
• Two years of CDM maintenance experience preferred
• Understanding of UB04 revenue codes and HCPCS/CPT codes
• Experience with pricing methodologies for hospital and professional services
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and procedures
