Charge Master Analyst
Job Summary
To enhance revenue integrity, the remote Charge Master Analyst will oversee charge description master processes, coordinate billing and reimbursement analysis, and collaborate with various departments to improve charging practices.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate chargemaster and charge capture processes, ensuring compliance with coding and billing guidelines
- Collaborate with department heads and external vendors to enhance reimbursement and cash flow while maintaining fiscal compliance
- Perform analyses to identify trends and validate compliance related to fiscal activities, generating additional revenue and reducing expenses
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience in billing, charging, Charge Master, coding, or healthcare revenue cycle
- 2+ years of experience with CPT/HCPCS, UB-92 Revenue Coding, modifiers, billing regulations, and APCs
- 2+ years of experience working with Epic Software
